About Us
Simplifying Life's Next Chapter
Downsizing, transitioning to assisted living, or settling an estate requires a thoughtful, compassionate, and expert approach—one grounded in knowing which questions to ask and when. We honor every home, collection, and family story, because this work is about people, not just property.

Our Story

At Generations Real Estate & Auction, LLC, our work is rooted in experience, compassion, and a deep understanding of life’s transitions.

With more than 25 years of experience in real estate, auctions, and estate downsizing, we’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming it can feel when it’s time to move, simplify, or settle an estate. Over the years, one need has remained constant: seniors and families often don’t know where to start—and they deserve trusted experts who do.
That’s why we focus on helping seniors who are downsizing, moving into assisted living or retirement communities, or navigating the liquidation of an estate. Our mission is simple—to lighten the load by providing a comprehensive, stress-free solution, all in one place. Whether you’re moving to a smaller home, transitioning to a new chapter, or handling a loved one’s estate, we guide you through each step with care, clarity, and respect. From real estate services to full estate auctions, we handle the details so you don’t have to.

Our leader, Kevin Borger, brings a unique perspective to our work. His experience in the auction industry began at just 13 years old when he attended auctioneer college, gaining hands-on knowledge early in life. While much of his background started on the auction side of real estate, he became a licensed real estate agent in 2000. Over the years, he’s seen countless market trends come and go—but the ongoing need to help people downsize with dignity and confidence has never changed.

At Generations Real Estate & Auction, you’re never just another transaction. You’re a family navigating change—and we’re honored to walk alongside you, every step of the way.
